Here are some pics of one of the first buildings I got from the Sylvanian Families (SF) toys range. The Water Mill Bakery. I got the set in 2017 pre-owned. The seller included the 3 figures in the photos. It was released in the UK in 2008.
I find it to be a fun toy design because one can turn the water wheel...
and doing so would then turn the tool that kneads the dough inside the bakery (see it behind the rabbit below...). See someone else's video of it here. That was pretty awesome when I first saw that moving. Lol! Brilliant!!
That flour, those eggs, the roller, the bread.. Everything was just so cute, also well-thought and well-designed quality.
It now sits on a lazy susan at a corner of a countertop in my kitchen (now atop the Sylvanian Families Blackcurrant Cafe). The lazy susan makes it easier to turn it around if I wanna to turn the wheel at the back. Lol! I enjoy seeing it while making breakfast/coffee every morning. =)
This set is really a great set to own, even if it's 'cause of just the water wheel alone. One of my fave SF building for sure! See more pics of it here on my Flickr site.
