During all that time, I've come across really interesting buildings, two of which right now, I feel are my most wanted. Lol. They're the Grand Mansion (with the blue roof) and the Photo Studio.
See here more info on the Grand Mansion by a serious collector.
I used to ignore listings of the Grand Mansion last year when I first started purchasing as they all cost a lot or were for bidding and I didn't know much about it at the time. So I focused instead on those I can easily purchase.
This year I've been ready to get one, but then I notice now that not many list the Grand Mansion anymore. Hardly even one, vs the SF restaurants which I've seen pop up more times. I set up an alert on my auction account so I'd know asap once a Grand Mansion is listed. There was only one time I got an alert for it and as soon as I checked it, it's gone. It wasn't for auction too. No wonder.
Since then I do my own search of the mansion on the auction site regularly, almost daily. I haven't used the third party Japan buyer services as I feel it can be quite confusing so I just stick with the regular non-Japan auction site.
Anyway, early this month, as I climbed in bed and once again hit search on the site on my mobile phone for this item, what do you know, there's a new in box that was probably just listed when I chanced upon it. It wasn't for auction. And it had a Best Offer option. Yay! Quickly got to work and the seller accepted my offer which was 25% less than their list price. Awesome! Below is a screenshot of it on my Purchase History list on the auction site.
The thing is the seller didn't show photos of the contents of the box but did note that the furniture and figures aren't included. However, I expect the following to be included in the box, as I believe those came in the box when it was first released. We shall see if all those come in the box. Keeping my fingers crossed.
- laundry line + clothes on the rooftop,
- the canopy,
- the flowers + flowerboxes
- the bottles of milk + milk carrier, and
- the boot scraper.
